"My work critiques everyday things, the world, or systems. I question a lot of people’s beliefs, and motives. I have a tendency to deconstruct any argument or idea. I mean, it's for the sake of understanding what I’m surrounded by. Notions of right or wrong, tradition, and lack of change. I want to portray that there is right and wrong in everything. That taking generalizations or rules, and applying them as if there is no other truth is a lack of practical wisdom.
I feel like you can see the deconstruction within my work. Originally, when I was developing my style, it was influenced by the lines my pencil made. How a whole drawing is just lines. Ultimately, the deconstruction of systems, beliefs, and at times, motives, are just ideas, people, and speech."
